The Acer Ferrari notebook which Zara first saw back in October has just been given the go-ahead from both parties, and is now shipping.

The carbon fibre 1100 is the latest in the Ferrari-branded line, and whilst it appears to look a tad bit entry-level in its aesthetics, the price tag guarantees it’s not: £1,499, folks.

The 12.1″ WXGA display with Acer CrystalBrite model features an integrated solt-loaded DVD SuperMulti DL, AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology, ATI Radeon X1250 3D graphics card (with up to 960 MB of HyperMemory), along with a juicy 250GB of hard disk space.

Not only that, but you can now listen to the sweet noise of Ferrari engines with the Dolby Home Theater audio enhancement, and Acer’s eAudio Management and PureZone technology, which supposedly ‘cleans the sound field with beam forming, echo cancellation and noise suppresion technologies’.

Out now, the 2kg notebook will make a fine addition to your garage.
