Roberts is taking a rare excursion outside the world of DAB to offer an alternative way of tuning in – with its Wi-Fi Internet Radio and Media Player.

And if you have a decent network in the home, it will offer you a larger choice of radio from all over the world, including the ‘listen again’ archived shows on the BBC. Also included is that media player, which allows you to stream digital files from our PC to the player and an auxiliary input socket to hook up your iPod/MP3 player.

Available in a high gloss piano black, it retails for £199.99.
