Sanyo's Xacti S70 set for UK launch

Sanyo has a new budget camera set for UK stores – the 7.1 megapixel Xacti S70.

The S70 is slim at just 22mm wide and features 3x optical zoom and a 2.5-inch screen. And likes most new models these days, there’s the ability to reduce blur with a Quick Focus feature, as well as face recognition technology to capture the person you want to snap clearly.

Powered by AA batteries, it’s priced around the £100 mark and should be in stores from May.
