i-mate launches Momento range of wireless digital photo frames

There’s a definite look of the Mac about the new Momento range of wireless digital photo frames from i-mate, available in a choice of 7-inch and 10-inch screens.

Very much down the tried and tested route for these frames, it allows you to wirelessly stream images directly from your PC and laptop, as well as having connectivity to pull images from memory cards and USB-based devices.

Other options include “playlists” – with the ability to sort and display pictures by tags, folders, ratings or date taken. And via MomentoLive www.momentolive.com, you can send and receive images via the net – which means you can display holiday snaps before you’ve even got home. You can also send images from a camera phone in the UK.

Remote-controlled, Windows only and with enough built-in storage for 200 pictures, you can pick one up for between £99 and £200, depending on your choice of frame size.
