It features 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, so adding those images to your online gallery is a doddle – as long as you are within a hot spot. The 6 megapixel camera also features 3x optical zoom, an ISO of 1000 and optical image stabilisation for improved snaps in low light, along with a 3.5-inch LCD screen.
And if you’re not near a hot spot when you’ve taken your pictures, Sony has compensated with 2GB of on-board storage. You can also take and upload VGA movies too.
It’s set for a US launch in April with a price tag of $600. As yet, there’s no news of a UK launch.
