Rock introduces Meivo – HD-ready LCD TV with built-in computer

Forget watching TV on your computer, how about bringing the computer to the TV? That’s what’s on offer with Rock’s Meivo.

Meivo is an LCD TV with integrated computer – HD ready and VISTA enabled, with PVR functionality and a platform to watch IPTV and internet TV. It will be available as a 22-inch screen, featuring an Intel Core 2 Duo desktop class processor, two desktop hard drive bays, 7.1 sound output to external speakers plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

There’s also side-mounted USB connectivity, RF keyboard and mouse and of course, the TV tuner. Pricing will depend on your final choice of specification, but start at around £1,000 when it goes on sale from April.
