AM Micro's iMainGo portable iPod speaker

AM Micro has a new addition to the iPod speaker market – the iMainGo – a sound system that doubles as protection for your player.
The company claims the sound is far better than speakers of an equivalent size, thanks to an efficient digital amp and high output stereo speakers. Power is supplied by four AAA batteries, which can power the device for up to 30 hours.
As well as the iPod, you can plug in any MP3 player, CD player or music-capable mobile phones via the headphone jack.
It should be available from the end of February, retailing for £59.
