Mini Car Cuckoo Clock – Mini adventures every hour

Forget the furry dice and the leather keyrings, here’s a piece of motoring memorabilia really worth buying – the Mini Car Cuckoo Clock, which as you might imagine, is an update of the traditional cuckoo clock, substituting car for bird.

The chrome clock is based on the speedometer of the car, with the hours and minutes replacing the mph. But here’s the clever bit – as every new hour comes around, a detailed miniature of a red Mini (1:93 scale) emerges from the “garage” at the bottom and circles around the entire clock, accompanied by an original engine noise and horn. Very cool – but I wouldn’t advise you keep it near your bed.

You can pick one up online or from Mini dealers for 99 Euros, which is around £65.
