Sanyo have previously introduced a 32 inch weatherproof TV and now have created a 42-inch screen.
The CE42LM4WPR costs three times as much as its indoor cousin, and this isn’t really designed for the domestic market (unless you have a lot of money and an outdoor space that just has to have a large LCD monitor by it).
It’s able to resist dusty and even strong jets of water, and meets the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IP56. The screen has a damage-resistent non-glare front acrylic panel. It has a wide viewing angle of 176 degrees all round.
It’s HD ready, having an HDMI HDCP compliant input, plus component. It has brightness of 500cd/m2, contrast ratio of 800:1, and screen resolution of 1366×768.
Now, do you have your weatherproof accessories to hook up to it?
It comes in at around £3800 plus.
