Boy band becomes virtual to invade your PC

Boy bands – there’s no escaping them. Even if you avoid daytime radio and the X-Factor karaokefest, they’ll catch up with you in the virtual world.

Innocent (part of EMI) is launching its latest boy band on Habbo Hotel, the virtual networking site for 11-18 year-olds – the first time a band has been launched virtually. That band is 365, described as “sheer unapologetic pop”. Then again, what do you expect from a boy band? 50 minute rock operas?

Members of Habbo Hotel can virtually meet and chat with the band on 13th November (when the single is out) and read the band’s blog on ‘how to make it as a boy band’. Obviously, that’s if they do make it. And so you know who to chase down the virtual street, here’s a picture of the lads in computer form.
