Bookbytes, who publish 10-15 minute audio books that summarise a range of business books, have teamed up with Audible.co.uk to make their products available at both Apple’s iTunes Store and at Audible’s site.
Bookbytes feature a range of renowned business journalists working for papers such as the FT, Wall Street Journal, and Daily Telegraph, who distil the books’ key ideas into a 10 or 15 minute audio snapshot.
They’re detailed enough so that you can absorb the key ideas effortlessly and light enough to listen to quickly. Each summary includes a “make a difference” section, where people can take the ideas and implement them into their business today.
Subjects covered include leadership, biographies, management strategy, personal effectiveness, and marketing.
Downloads cost just £1.95 and they can be used as a springboard into the complete book. Now they’re available online they’re easy to put on an iPod or other portable audio player and used whilst on the move.
