Nintendo DS to become an MP3 player?
According to a report on Gizmodo, Nintendo is set to add MP3 functionality to its DS and DS Lite handhelds next month.
The story comes from a picture spotted on a brochure at the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany. According to the brochure, it’s an add-on device that allows your handheld to store and play music via SD cards up to 2GB, which is around 500 tracks at best quality. You also get a chocie of skins, a music interface and an additional headphone socket.
Launch date is set for October 8th, with a reasonable price tag of 30 Euros. We’ll let you kow the full story when the official announcment comes through.
