There’s little doubt that the Apple MacBook has sold well on its looks alone – what lurks underneath the hood isn’t a stunningly powerful piece of equipment you’ll ever see. But the combination of the specs, the size and weight, and, above all, price (specifically the mid-range £899 model) makes the MacBook into a really impressive all-rounder. And of course the iconic white minimalist design doesn’t hurt either.
Windows users nervous about making the move to Apple OS X can have some of their fears allayed thanks to the brilliant BootCamp tool which allows Intel Macs to run… Windows.
