Have you seen that awful ad from Samsung for the HD-ready TV? You know, the one about "scoring tickets" for the big match, then swapping them for a Samsung TV. HDTV UK reports that Peter Kirwan, an ex-editor of Computing magazine, has described it as "terminally shoddy" and "the most terrible World Cup related TV creative of them all."
But is it indicative of ads for HD-ready TVs in general? What do you think of them? Are they good? Bad? Indifferent? Filled with too much jargon? Or just not that good in explaining what HD is?
