Atari Museum of Video Games


Those of us who can remember when a couple of moving vertical lines and a square blob bouncing around a TV screen was considered nothing short of a miracle in home entertainment technology will be pleased to see that the early days of video games, and in particular Atari’s pivotal role in the business has been preserved online in the Atari Historical Society Museum.

Having written about video games since before day one it brought back a lot of memories. It’s a shame they didn’t include more about those exciting early days but there are plenty of other sites on the web, including the rough-and ready but informative History of Video Games.
