Sony isn’t the only company with a new portable player on the market – Mustek has unveiled their latest model, the MP70C, today. It doesn’t have the "cool" of Sony, but it does pack a lot into the 21cm x 16cm body for a competitive price.

The MP70C is Mustek’s smallest player, but still features a 7-inch TFT LCD screen with image display in 16:9 widescreen format, along with built-in stereo speakers and Anti Shock Protection for stable playback on the bumpy roads.

Compatible with all standard DVD and CD formats, the MP70C also supports playback of MPEG4, Kodak Picture CD and JPEG. There’s also a built-in USB port to playback anything saved on an external USB storage device. You can also use the MMC/SD card reader slot to transfer photos from digital cameras or phones.

Bundled with a complete car kit including rechargeable battery, 12 volt car cigarette lighter adapter and travel bag, plus remote control, you can pick it up for around £107.
