Hidden Zoom In Windows Paint

Share

As all PC-savvy Propellerhead readers know Windows Paint is a handy, though not especially sophisticated image-editing program. In amongst the tools there’s a zoom control and if you click on the magnifying glass icon you’ll see there’s a choice between 1x, 2x, 6x and 8x magnification. In fact there is another hidden setting of 10x magnification but it requires some precision mousing to get at it. Open a picture in Paint then click on the Zoom icon to open the magnification selector box, now place your mouse pointer very carefully in the tiny space below 8x and left click the mouse. And don’t forget there’s more tips than you can shake a stick at over on the Bootlog website at www.rickmaybury.com
