Google gets into VoIP

Google‘s launching stuff on all fronts with the beta launch of Googletalk, downloadable here. This new release which could best be described as a mixture of MSN and Skype will let users log on with a gmail account (which is now freely available in case you  didn’t know). The service lets you talk to people via text or you can call other people using Googletalk and chat using VoIP.

While it doesn’t do anything particularly new, it boasts the nice, simple interface that we’ve come to expect from Google products.

Makes you wonder what Google are going to do next.
