After writing off the Moto iTunes phone’s chances of a UK launch last week, it looks like we might soon be forced to chomp on our words. The Register reports that the phone will make its debut at the V music festival which takes place over the weekend of the 20-21 August.
Seeing as the V festival is sponsored by Virgin it doesn’t take a genius to work out that the network is almost certainly going to be offering the phone. Unlike its rivals Virgin Mobile has no music download service and therefore no issue with the handset’s iTunes link. Also Virgin Mobile would clearly love to have the phone as its hero music handset for the late summer.
