Philips adds budget MP3 player

The Guardian has the latest on Philips second foray into the hard disk personal audio jukebox market, the HD060 (on the left) , is scheduled to reach the stores early next month.

A rival to the Apple iPod mini the model, which plays MP3 and WMA files, features a one-inch 1.5Gigabyte hard disk capable of storing around thirty hours worth of MP3 tunes. It will retail for £200

Philips is also promising a 20Gigabyte version of its existing personal audio jukebox, the HDD100.
