Asda takes up DAB radio

Another indication that digital radio looks like being one of the must haves this Christmas. Supermarket retailer Asda has just announced it is to sell the excellent Pure Digital Evoke-1 DAB radio in 10 of its stores, reports ERT Weekly. Already the product is sold by WH Smith, Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s and Boots.

Meanwhile, sales of DAB digital radio are expected to reach between 300,000 and half a million by the end of next year, according to digital radio software specialist Radioscape.
