Over in the US there’s another MP3 Jukebox eagerly eyeing the Apple iPod’s market share. Dell has just unveiled its debut MP3 player the Dell DJ. Its USP over the iPod is that it can play back music for up to 16 hours – twice as long as the battery-hungry iPod.
It is pretty small – it uses Hitachi’s 1.8inch hard disk and is available in either 15 or 30 Gig versions ($249 and $329 respectively). No Mac support or WMA playback. Now news either on a UK launch.
