Steam summer sale games list leaked: Cheap PC gaming deals

Gerald Lynch Gaming, Tech Digest news 28 Comments

steam-app-thumb.pngFor PC gamers, the Steam summer sales are a double-edged sword. On the one hand, their run of just-over-a-week’s-worth of cheap as chips gaming downloads are a calendar highlight, letting them grab relatively new titles at massively reduced prices, with giant gaming bundles often leading to summer days shuttered up in front of a monitor. Great stuff. On the other hand, the daily, time-locked deals can be so tempting that, come the end of the sale season, bank balances run worryingly low.

And with that in mind, peruse the below list of Steam summer sale games at your own risk. Leaked online by a Reddit member with access to a Content Description Record Database, its highlights include a massive Bethesda bundle, and an indie-heavy daily deals season. No prices yet available, nor confirmation on any of the games listed below actually being featured.

Some detractors are disappointed to see so many of the rumoured sales titles being those that have already popped up in previous Steam sales. Either way, it looks set to be a great opportunity to grab some gaming bargains. Keep an eye on Steam on July 11th, the date that the sale is expected to go live.

The full rumoured list is as follows:

looks like a pretty poor list to be honest, compared to what steam normally pull out of the bag. Very Indie based and not enough big titles

    • Gi Zeppelin

that was exactly what i was thinking… Hopefully this “leaked” list is wrong in some ways so that i can get good deals on the games i want

I agree, what a let down if this is true.

I didn't wait for the Steam sale just to buy cheap games that were already cheap to start with :/

  • Harrison Jones

This cant be it!?!? What the fuck!!!

    • Mikelang

i agree if this is steam sale  wow i can save money this summer then lol

  • Tetharion

yes, that list is most likely real (why else should they put it into the cdr)no, that list is NOT complete

2k Bundle, Activision Greatest Hits aswell as 2 Call of Duty bundles were added the last 2 days alone, and today will be no difference.also, single games won't show up as new items in the database, but will definately be discounted.

so calm down and wait for the sale before complaining that there are not enough deals.

Already have several here from last year's sales and before (Jamestown, Sanctum, Greed Corp, Demolition Inc.) though might look at the Civ, DoW, and Stardock packs in case I missed any DLC or some such.

Each day one of the daily sales is an indi pack with five or six games in it. The List entitled Daily Sales is really just a list of what is on the indi pack.
