Apple might get all the design plaudits in 2007, but Bang & Olufsen has been matching style with technology for longer than most of us have been alive. And they're still doing it today, most recently with the Beosound 6 MP3 player.
It's typical B&O - sleek, functional and very stylish. In fact, it even comes with its own leather case and a pair of A8 earphones. Memory is 4GB, with playback of MP3 and WMA files. There's also a 1.8-inch LCD and a promised battery life of an impressive 24 hours.
And for price, expect to pay a premium - somewhere near the £400 mark. Yes, you can buy a few nanos for that - but are they really anywhere near as cool?
