Notebook manufacturer Rock has announced it will be first in the UK to ship notebooks with Intel's Core Duo T2700 CPU fitted - the notebook in question being the Xtreme CTX T2700.
In addition, the video card has also been boosted to a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX - the most powerful mobile graphics chip available. The full specification varies according to your preference, but a basic set-up also includes 1GB DDR2 667MHz RAM, 100GB hard drive, 8 x dual layer DVD (-/+) writer, 802.11A/B/G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You can also upgrade to a WUXGA 1920x1200 X-Glass screen for a wider viewing angle and improved colour.
Available to order now, prices start at £1499 excluding VAT.
