The showstopper at the stand of Japanese company Onkyo was undoubtedly its TX-NR1000 AV receiver. In addition to including HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) for optimum quality digital video connections and Dolby, DTS and THX surround sound compatibility, the TX-NR1000 also includes the company’s Net-Tune for wirelessly accessing MP3 and WAV files stored on a PC.
It is due to launch in the US in April for $4000. It should arrive in the UK soon after
