B&O’s new app comes with a room builder that lets you customise floor plans and shapes

Bang & Olufsen has launched an app that allows you to see exactly what products will look like once they are placed in your home. Called the BeoHome Design App, it can, for example, be used to see how the all-in-one wireless music system, BeoSound 35, or the BeoLab 90 will look.

The app lets you digitally visualise the different Bang & Olufsen products in any given space. You can choose between all the different speakers, sound systems and televisions and place them wherever the camera on your iPad is pointing.

You can easily change colours on the speaker fronts, shift brackets and stands on the televisions and do all the customisations needed to get exactly what fits your home.

A key feature includes the “Room Builder” where you can select, and customise predefined floor plans and shapes, and subsequently add products and furniture.

This provides a clearer idea on what to expect when adding Bang & Olufsen products to a room – especially because the feature also lets you add and move furniture around via augmented reality. This signals Bang & Olufsen moving into the augmented reality space to deliver optimum customer experience.
