Every iPhone needs its touch. And so Samsung has unveiled a non-phone version of its popular Galaxy smart phone. You get almost all the features of the Galaxy (big screen Android OS, decent camera etc) but it runs on Wi-Fi not 3G. It can still make calls though. Samsung says it has optimised the device to make the most of its VoIP calling and that, unlike the touch, you can use it putting it next to your ear and you won’t need a headset.
It will be on sale in Korea first with the rest of the world to follow.
