dell r series laptops.jpgDell have lifted the covers on two brand new entry-level laptops. The Inspiron 15R and 17R are 15 inch and 17 inch laptops respectively, with a focus on sharing family photos and videos.

Plenty of options in terms of components to consider beyond the size of the screen too if you pick an R series laptop up. You can choose between either an Intel Core i3 or i5 CPU, a GPU up to 1GB ATI, hard drive sizes up to 640 GB, and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM.

“The Inspiron R takes the rock solid Inspiron line and amps up the cool factor with a sexy and practical machine for entertainment, and social networking along with all the usual home, school and work functions,” said Glen Robson, vice president, product marketing at  Dell.

“Photos, videos and personal files can also be securely stored and shared with DataSafeOnline for peace of mind right out of the box. This is a laptop that families will love.”

Coming on a bit strong describing the laptops as sexy there Glen! Still, if you’re infatuated, prices will start at £479 when they become available on 24th June.
