Another new Cyber-Shot from Sony, with the 9.1 megapixel DSC-H50 offering an impressive 15x optical zoom.
Other features include a Carl Zeiss lens and a 3-inch LCD screen, along with various ways of helping you get a better picture - Smile Shutter mode, enhanced Face Detection, double anti-blur technology with Super SteadyShot, an ISO of 3200 and an Advanced Sports Shooting mode for fast action shots. There's also a Bracket Shooting mode that captures three images at different exposure, white balance or colour mode settings, and five built-in colour filter effects.
The H50 should be with you from early May. No price as yet, but the US price is $400 (£200).
