Well, no sooner has Apple announced the forthcoming availability of EMI tracks DRM-free than someone beats them to market - and with better quality.
Yes, 7digital is attempting to steal some of Apple's thunder with DRM-free tunes at 320k - that's up on the 256k tracks Apple will be offering from May - and at the same 99p price point. But there is a catch - 7digital is only offering tracks from The Good, The Bad & The Queen. Great if you want to buy that, not so great if you want something else.
Still, the more DRM-free music around, the better.
