CD is still going strong, despite the online onslaught of music. And there's plenty of new players coming onto the market, including this latest effort from Onkyo - the DX-7355.
The DX-7355 handles traditional discs, as well as MP3-encoded CDs, recorded on CD-R or CD-RW, along with a quick navigation system to deal with the large number of tracks on MP3 discs.
Other features on the slimline player include track/full-disc repeat, 25-track programming, peak-level search, dimmer, anti-resonant chassis and a Wolfson Microelectronics 192 kHz/24-bit DAC (digital-to-analogue converter). There's also two digital outputs (coaxial/optical), a headphone jack plus remote control.
It should be in stores in mid-April. Expect to pay around £199.95.
