Sony's portable desktop PC

We really like the way Sony is developing its VAIO PCs with cool wide screens and small-ish main units. The VAIO PCV-P101 could prove to be its sexiest yet with a design that is ideal for carrying round form room to room – though not sure it is quite a laptop replacement yet.

Unfortunately the specs don’t match the design. It has a 1.06GHz Intel Mobile Celeron processor, 256MB of memory, a 40GB hard disk drive, and CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive.

Still, at the moment it is Japan only product. A more highly specified take on the same design would certainly be a big hit in Europe.
