With the release of the GT5: Prologue bundle just around the corner, news comes from Konami of another unit-shifting PS3 combo.
Metal Gear Solid 4 will ship with a limited-edition gun-metal coloured console and Dualshock 3 controller. Unfortunately the pack has only been announced for Japan (at a price of ¥51,800 [£260]). Which means the US will have to make do with their standard PS3/MGS4 bundle, and we’ll have to make do with our… oh.
In case you don’t know, ATEI is a massive trade show for the arcade and amusement world. It’s mainly for businessmen to go to and do serious business, but there’s one very good reason everyone should register and attend – loads of arcade machines all set to freeplay!
So I went. And did a video. It’s a bit long, but you get to see lots of people having fun playing new games, including SEGA’s ultra-odd floor-based-TV game UFO Stomper.

Konami has reportedly kicked off the beta test of its Metal Gear Solid Online by sending invites out to 3,000 gaming magazines and websites. It’s unclear whether this is in Europe alone, or across the world, as previous reports have claimed there’d be 3,000 beta places in Japan only.
