IFA 2026: Key announcements so far
Without doubt, IFA is one of Europe’s largest and most significant consumer electronics and home appliances trade shows – on a par with CES in Las Vegas (though perhaps not as glamorous).
Held annually in Berlin, the massive convention which attracts around 200,000 visitors, brings together leading global tech brands, industry experts, retailers and international media to showcase the latest innovations in everything from home entertainment and smart appliances to cutting-edge mobile devices and artificial intelligence.
Here are just a few of the announcements so far.

Mind with Heart Robotics: The AnAn Panda Companion
Bringing a touch of affective computing and emotional intelligence to the Berlin floor, Mind with Heart Robotics unveiled its award-winning AnAn Panda Robot to the European market. Designed as a lifelike companion robot tailored for elderly support, emotional wellness and child development, AnAn features a full-body tactile sensing system that responds to human touch through gentle movements and responsive feedback.
Following its recognition as a CES Innovation Award Honoree, the company announced that AnAn is launching across Europe with retail pricing set between $1,000 and $1,500 (£750–£1,100 approx.). Alongside consumer availability backed by new distribution channels in Germany and Belgium, the company also introduced a B2B care-provider version featuring secure dashboards designed to track behavioural trends and interaction patterns.
