How about this for a cute little projector that fits snugly in your hand? AV specialist Optoma has just launched a new battery-powered pocket LED projector for cordless operation.

Called the LV130 and designed for use on the go, the petite projector makes portable projection even more convenient.

Its integrated rechargeable battery provides up to 4.5 hours of cable-free projection on a single charge – perfect for movies on the go or impromptu meetings. Its battery can also be used to charge a mobile device.

Key features

Small and portable – 300 LED brightness
LED technology – great for movies, gaming and PC-free presentations
HDMI and built-in speaker
Battery-power for up to 4.5 hours
Lightweight and compact design – only 400g
Carry bag included

Set-up is simple with an HDMI port which supports MHL. This can connect to laptops, mobile devices and games consoles. The USB port can power wireless streaming devices such as Amazon Fire and Google Chromecast.  Its built-in speaker outputs crisp audio and there’s also a mini jack audio output for connection to external speakers.

The LED light source provides an impressive expected lifetime of up to 30,000 hours while a 100,000:1 contrast ratio gives deep black levels.

Weighing just 400g, this ultra portable projector can be used in any space or taken around to friends in its little carry bag for a sports event, movie night or gaming session.

Says Kishan Mistry, Senior Product Manager at Optoma EMEA:

“The new LV130 can deliver an impressive 80-inch image and, being so small and compact, it fits easily into a bag or backpack.

“It’s a great all-rounder, combining a quick and easy set-up, instant on/off and an integrated speaker all in a tiny chassis for the ultimate convenience.”
