The beautiful, retro-looking Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III digital camera, pictured above, has been honoured with two coveted product design prizes: The iF Design Award and the Red Dot Award 2018.

Both internationally renowned design competitions received over 6,000 entries, respectively, out of which the international juries selected products with the highest design quality to be distinguished with the awards.

Sharing many of the class-leading technologies found in other models of Olympus’ OM-D mirrorless camera line, the OM-D E-M10 Mark lll has been designed to encourage photography starters and enthusiasts to discover the joy of photography.

With built-in view finder, Wi-Fi, and a compact lightweight design, the OM-D E-M10 Mark III has been designed to make it the perfect travel companion. The tiltable and touchable LCD monitor as well as easy-to-use metal dials and buttons provide intuitive control, claims Olympus, and enable photographers to take stunning, crisp images and video from the moment they pick up the camera.

Thanks to four camera assist shooting modes, even novice photographers can take stunning shots while on the go.

Says Jun Takahashi, General Manager at the Olympus Design Center in Tokyo:

“We are delighted to have won not only one but both of these prestigious international design awards that are a confirmation for the hard work our designers put into creating timeless and functional designs for our digital camera range.”
