BeatsCoreColours.jpgBeats by Dr. Dre (Beats) has unveiled it new noise-cancelling headphones, the Beats Studio3 Wireless.

Featuring proprietary Pure Adaptive Noise Canceling (Pure ANC), the headphones continuously monitor your listening environment in order to block out ambient noise—not only on an airplane, but also in a noisy café or a busy office.

Pure ANC also evaluates fit and adjusts for leakage caused by hair, glasses, different ear shapes and movement of your head as you go about the day.

Additionally, Pure ANC simultaneously checks what you’re hearing while noise cancelling is applied against the original music content in order to ensure optimal audio fidelity.

Also on board the new Studio3 Wireless headphones is the Apple W1 chip. This offers proximity pairing so you can seamlessly switch between Apple devices.

iPhone users can switch between devices logged into the same iCloud account to easily move from an iPhone conversation to watching a movie on their MacBook (requires iCloud account and macOS Sierra, iOS 10, watchOS 3 or later versions).

The efficiency of the Apple W1 chip also provides nearly double the battery life of Beats Studio3’s predecessor, totalling 22 hours of wireless playback with Pure ANC on.

By turning Pure ANC off directly from the earcup, it’s possible to get up to 40 hours of nonstop playback in low power mode without sacrificing audio quality, the manufacturer claims.

Run out of juice? No problem. Fast Fuel promises to 3 hours of playback after just 10 minutes of charging via the included Micro-USB cable.

Finally, Class 1 Bluetooth provides optimal connectivity so you get fewer drop-outs and extended range from your iOS or Android device while multi-function on-ear controls and a built-in microphone allow you to make calls, skip songs, control your volume and activate Siri without ever having to take off your headphones or reach for your device.

Colours for the new Studio3 wireless headphones include Matte Black, White, Blue and Red as well as special edition colors Porcelain Rose and Shadow Gray.

Says Luke Wood, president of Beats by Dr. Dre.

“Beats Studio3 delivers with a level of sophistication in both technology and audio fidelity beyond anything we’ve ever brought to market.

“Since our brand’s inception, we’ve strived to fix the degradation of sound heightened by the commodification of consumer electronics. Now with the right vision, team and resources, we see technology enabling the perfect sound experience in Studio3.”

The Studio 3 headphones are now available to purchase for £299.95 (UK) at Apple.com.
