Surprise! Zelda WiiU delayed.
In a move that will surprise no one who has ever followed the development of a Zelda game before, Nintendo has announced that the WiiU’s instalment of the series is being delayed. In this case, it seems that it probably won’t hit the Christmas 2015 release date it was aiming for.
Check out the video above featuring producer Eiji Aonuma, where he also explains that we won’t be seeing the title at E3 in June either.
It isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Zelda: Twilight Princess for Gamecube was delayed so much it ended up being the last Gamecube title released, and a launch title for the Wii that followed it.
Ah well, whilst it’ll be annoying it at least adds weight to my prediction that Zelda will turn out the lights on the WiiU.
