A fun new app has launched on the Google Play store which will take the camera feed from two phones and send them to the display of the other – which when mounted on your head using a Google Cardboard VR headset opens up all sorts of new possibilities.

Cardboard is Google’s el cheapo answer to the Oculus Rift – but instead of insisting on an expensive headset with built in screens, all you have to do is mount your phone in front of your eyes using the cardboard frame.

For the Body Swap app to work, both users have to be on the same wifi network – sadly you can’t transport yourself across the world just yet. However, suggested activities by the developer include trying to mirror each other’s movements, looking into a mirror and playing Jenga. We’re sure you can probably think of less safe-for-work activities to try too.

You can grab the app from here.
