PS4 sales now up to 18.5 million worldwide

The PS4 appears to be pulling ahead in the console war – with sales of the console now topping 18.5 million.
The news comes via Bit-Tech, which reports that of this number, an astonishing 4.1 million were sold exclusively during the festive period – between November 23rd and January 4th.
Similarly, software sales are apparently in the region of 81.8m units – meaning PS4 owners have 4.4 games each, on average. (The .4 of a game is Driveclub, haha!)
According to Bit-Tech this contrasts with the Xbox One, which has reportedly sold around 10 million units – so it would seem the estimates of the PS4 outselling its rival at 2:1 is not too far off.
