Amazon Instant Video can now play your videos too

Amazon has just made it easier to get your photos and videos on the big screen. The company has hooked up Amazon Instant Video (its Netflix-style service) with Amazon Cloud Drive (a bit like Dropbox) – so that if you have photos and videos uploaded there, you can now view them through the Instant Video app on PS3, PS4 – and LG & Samsung Smart TVs. Brilliant.

All Amazon users get 5GB of storage for free – with premium packages available to increase space.

Apparently the plan is to roll it out on other platforms in the future.
