Sony Xperia Z3 arrives at Carphone Warehouse
Carphone Warehouse has announced that it is stocking Sony’s new Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact in its store from today.
Like previous Sony phones, the Z3 is fully waterproof – which is why Carphone Warehouse produced this unboxing video filmed underwater.
The Z3 Compact starts from £28/month with no upfront cost (presumably on a two year contract), or £429.95 SIM free. The Z3 meanwhile starts at £38/month or £549.95 SIM free.
The phones are Sony’s latest flagship handsets – following the Z2 which was released earlier this year. Unusually, it seems Sony operates on a bi-annual update cycle rather than the traditional year. You can read all about the handsets here.
The Z3 and Z3 compact will be available in black, orange, white and green – though the latter will be exclusive to Carphone Warehouse.
