iPhone 6 Plus dispatch delayed?

It looks like Apple already can’t keep up with demand: Pre-ordering an iPhone 6 Plus from the Apple website pushes the dispatch date back beyond the September 19th release date.
According to Phone Reviews a dispatch date of “3-4 weeks” is now being reported for certain configurations of the phone, including the 64GB version in Space Grey, Silver and Gold.
The website also reports the 16GB and 128GB versions are still being dispatched normally for now.

I ordered a 64GB iPhone 6 Plus in Silver on 9/15/14 (Monday) and have expected delivery date between 13th/20th October.
Ordered iphone 6 plus from apple on pre order day at 8:10 and got delivery on 19th September 🙂
ordered a 128ggb gold iphone 6 at 9:02 in uk and got 19/09 delivery
Ordered mine on the day of release, 64GB iPhone 6, space grey.. 3-4 weeks shipping.
It’s not just Plus. I ordered a 64GB non-plus in silver – same delays.
Ordered 128 6+ in space grey minutes after release on the Apple Store and was told 3-4 weeks delivery. Not really acceptable Apple…
