There’s still time to hop on the Eurostar and head over to Paris if you’re desperate to try out the Apple Watch – the device, which isn’t being released until next year – is being previewed today in a fancy French fashion store.

According to, umm, The Daily Star (which is definitely a reliable source), Paris fashion store Colette will have the hotly anticipated wearable available to play with from 11am today – and it is already on display in the shop’s windows.

Whilst you won’t be able to actually buy an Apple Watch, visiting the achingly trendy store could be your only chance to play with one before launch. Clearly Apple is trying to boost its fashion cred ahead of the launch – with watches widely viewed as more of a fashion item than a phone that mostly sits in your pocket.

Rumours of Samsung representatives standing outside of the Hull branch of Matalan, begging shoppers to take a Gear S so far remain unconfirmed.
