Budget Lumia 530 gets a UK release date

Microsoft has announced that the Lumia 530 will be coming to the UK next month – and could retail for as little as £60.

The phone is definitely on the budget end of Microsoft’s offering. It has a 4″ screen (854×480 – not even HD!), with a 1.2ghz Snapdragon 200 processor, 512mb of RAM and a 5MP camera. As it is a Microsoft device it runs Windows Phone 8.1 with the Lumia Cyan update.

The Lumia 530 will be hitting EE, Vodafone, O2, Three, Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse on September 4th.
