Virgin Media subscribers will continue to have access to Sky’s entertainment, sport and movie channels – including their HD variants – for at least five more years after the companies signed a new deal.

According to The Next Web, the deal will see all of Sky’s channels, other than Sky Atalantic, broadcast to Virgin customers as the pair up the ante in the war against BT.

Under the deal, Virgin customers will be able to watch Sky Sports 3 HD, Sky Sports 4 HD, and Sky Sports F1 HD for the first time.

Virgin viewers will also be able to access Sky channels on multiple devices – including, for the first time, selected tablets and mobiles – via the Virgin TV Anywhere app.
