Man Vs. Food pigging out on LoveFilm Instant as Food Network joins streaming service

man-vs-food-top.jpgGastric bands at the ready: competitive eating show Man Vs. Food is about to hit the LoveFilm Instant TV streaming service as the Amazon company signs a new deal to offer shows from The Food Network.

Part of the Scripps Networks Interactive, The Food Network content will also come alongside shows from the Travel Channel, adding programmes like Food Nation, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern and Restaurant: Impossible to the streaming service.

Cooking shows from British favourites Andy Bates and Reza Mahammad will also feature alongside LoveFilm Instant’s catalogue of TV programming and blockbuster movies.

“We’re delighted to announce this latest deal with Scripps Networks Interactive, which brings something very different and exciting to our members,” said Simon Morris, Chief Marketing Officer at LoveFilm.

“There is no doubt that we are a nation of foodies, and it’s great that this deal will enable us to meet increasing viewer demands for this particular type of content.”

LoveFilm Instant streaming, available on PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, iPad, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U and PS3, costs £4.99 a month.
