lg-g2-quick-window.jpgWe’ve seen plenty of leaks and a fair few teasers from LG themselves, and now wer’re finally getting a proper look at the LG G2 flagship Android smartphone.

Well, sort of – at least, that’s the phone tucked away inside the company’s new LG G2 QuickWindow cases in the image above. Set to launch alongside the handset, they use magnets to clasp the cover shut, with a cutaway on the front displaying a peek at at-a-glance info displayed on the visible portion of the screen, showing everything from clocks to music players, call details and more.

“LG’s newest premium accessory delivers practical and stylish options while protecting the smartphone, which for many consumers is a significant investment,” said Dr Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG’s mobile division.

“Our smartphone designers have in mind the type of case they’d like to see on their designs. So it made a lot of sense for LG designers to share with our customers their vision of the perfect accessory.”

The cases will launch in seven colours (black, white, pink, purple, blue, mint and yellow) alongside the handset.

The LG G2 itself is expected to launch on 7 August, the date that LG has a big global press event planned in New York.
