Kicking off with season 1 being made available right away, and following up with seasons 2 and 3 and the yet-to-be-broadcast season 4 over the next 18 months, the show is the massively popular adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s equally-impressive comic book series, delving into exactly how life would be in the aftermath of a zombie infection.

“Securing the exclusive streaming rights to The Walking Dead is another exciting development for us,” Chris Bird, Director of Film Strategy at LoveFilm said.

“It is seriously impressive that the show has become one of the most-watched drama series in basic US cable history, and a real testament to its quality. We are thrilled to bring this great content to our members, especially as we are the only subscription service in the country to do so.”

Those hoping to catch the forthcoming season 4 of the show through LoveFilm will have to wait however: FOX International Channels remains the exclusive Pay-TV broadcaster of The Walking Dead, with season 4 premiering in the UK this autumn, hitting FOX first.
